Postdoc in Nanomaterials for Photovoltaics (competition closed)

The “International Collaboration on Advanced Photovoltaics” is a joint project between the Group of Prof Mariotti (www.plasmamate.org) at Ulster University and colleagues in USA (Arizona State University, Massacchusetts Institute of Technology) and Ireland (Dublin, City University, Tyndall National Institute). The project focuses on the development of next generation solar cells, including for indoor applications, utilizing advanced nanomaterials and novel fabrication processes. The job post is for a postdoctoral researcher with interest in the synthesis of nanomaterials and the development of advanced solar cell devices and architectures. He/she will be expected to take a leadership role in the activities at Ulster University which involve a team of PhD students and postdoctoral researchers. Prof Mariotti’s group has access to advanced materials characterization facilities as well as a number of innovative nanomaterials synthesis techniques. In addition facilities for the fabrication and characterization of solar cells are also available.
